Cherry and Rhododendron Mantle

Cherry and Rhododendron Mantle

This Mantle is the first thing I built for my house when I moved in. The top is a piece of live edge cherry and the branches are from a rhododendron and mountain laurel branches.

Natural Firplace Mantle

Basically done with my new mantle. Just needs some nice cap nuts. Made from mountain laurel and rhododendron branches. The top is a beautiful piece of cherry from a good friends property in Carrolton Ohio. Pretty happy with the way this turned out.

Black Walnut Stools

Black Walnut Stools

These stools are make from a black walnut log and the legs from reclaimed oak. These are for my home but contact me if interested in stools like them. There’s a lot more black walnut where this came from….

Termite Epoxy Fill

Termite Epoxy Fill

This piece was the first time I’ve ever used a resin epoxy. I made some mistakes but it came out okay. This piece of wood was just just some mill scrap that had a really cool and intricate termite maze. So I airbrushed the termite eaten area with some color and then filled it with a resin epoxy. It’s currently a wall piece hanging in my kitchen.

Before the epoxy pour

Before the epoxy pour

This was the piece before I added the epoxy resin. The piece below it is the color the piece was before I started. I just forgot to take before pictures. A coffee table named Edgar

Edgar? It's the name of the old bearded dude found hiding in there and carved out. Sorry everyone, this piece is not for sale. Edgar is currently enjoying his time in MY living room.
